Zakiya Summers at the Mississippi Sickle Cell Foundation’s Boots on the Ground Sickle Cell Gala on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Mississippi Agricultural Museum in Jackson. This black-tie affair will feature a celebration roast, live music from award-winning DJ Energizer, and a powerful tribute to sickle cell warriors and their advocates. Proceeds support education, awareness, and support services for those affected by sickle cell disease.
